Why use a professional designer?

  • Using a designer for your project will definitely take stress out of the process, but many times can save you money.  You will be happier
with the results since you will have a good idea how your room will look before you start making purchases.
  • You will be exposed to products and choices that you will not find on
    your own.

What should you expect?

  • The first thing to accomplish is a detailed conversation that allows you to express your vision for your room.
  • Second, a presentation of unique ideas and an implementation plan that will see you from the beginning to the end of your project.  A presentation will include items that are required to complete your look.  Color swatches, room plans and fabrics are common pieces of your presentation.  There may be choices for you to make for final details.
  • The presentation will outline all costs involved, so there are no surprises in the end.
  • Attention to detail throughout the project management process to prevent delays and unforeseen costs.

What is your responsibility?

  • Have a reasonable budget and time to complete your project in mind.
  • Let the overall look be the deciding factor for small details; don’t put too much emphasis on the nitty-gritty choices.  Allow your decorator to make those decisions.
  • Listen to your designer and uphold your commitments for keeping schedules on track.
  • When you order custom products, they are yours as soon as an order goes in to the manufacturer.  If you want to make changes, that must be done before the ordering stage.
  • Enjoy the process!  Let us pamper you by taking most of the not so fun work out of decorating a room.

What are the fees?

  • Hourly fees are $75/hour with a two hour minimum.  For distances over 20 miles, additional mileage charges will apply.
  • Packages of 10 hours are available for $650.  Please consider this option if you want more than just a color consultation or room plan.
  • There is a $250 deposit for a detailed presentation with budgets up to $2500.  For budgets more than $2500, 10% of the budget is required.   The deposit amount is applied to the final price.  If you have not decided on a reasonable budget, we can help you with that.
  • At the time of ordering, 50% of the total is required.
  • At installation or delivery, the remaining balance is due.  If for some reason, the installation cannot be 100% completed on schedule, remaining charges will be pro-rated at the time of delivery.
